Yoga Classes

Gentle yoga  (Great for beginners and all fitness levels)
Enjoy the experience of learning yoga in a slower paced class with a spiritual touch. Contributes to a feeling of safety, relaxation, and overall sense of well-being.  This class is adaptable for many physical conditions including pregnancy. 1 1/4hr.

Nature-Inspired Yoga (Beginners and beyond)
Learn yoga while enjoying nature.  The theme is generally related to the beauty of nature of the Earth, spirit, or human condition. The theme changes weekly, therefore all classes are unique with music, asana, and meditative imagery. A real treat!

Hands-On yoga  (All levels)
This class integrates self-massage and acupressure techniques to release stress and improve energy. Learn to tap into the physiological mechanisms that regulate your body's systems to achieve optimal health.  This class includes therapeutic breath work (pranayama), energy balancing techniques, stress reducing meditation, and asana. 1 1/4 hr.

Yoga flow/ Yoga 1-2  (Some fitness experience recommended)
Perfect class for beginners with a basic level of fitness and intermediate students who wish to go beyond basic skills.  Caring, patient instructors teach the fundamentals while also guiding and encouraging students toward deepening their practice.  This class involves breath work (pranayama), physical postures (asana), and a guided meditation period. It will give you a workout, and leaves you feeling refreshed. 1 1/4hr.

Quickie Yoga (Some fitness experience recommended)
Short on time? Enjoy a therapeutic yoga practice in half the time with this abbreviated session.  45 mins. Only $7 to drop in.

Donation class (All levels)
Group guided meditation and designated donation yoga classes are open to everyone.  Donate $10 to support the teacher and yoga in the community; leave with a smile no matter what. :)

Mindful Fitness classes

Acrofit™ Acrofit™ is a combination of basic acrobatics, cardio, and strength training that is designed to improve your balance, coordination, power, and stamina. With easier variations for a total beginner and harder modifications for the experienced student, It’s the most fun you’ll have working out!  1 hr.

GYROKINESIS® Experience the joy of movement, by gracefully moving the spine in all directions while sitting on a stool or a mat.  You can have lean, graceful muscles instead of bulky, tired muscles! This class is for all ages and abilities. If you like the fluidity of dance, tai chi, yoga, or swimming, you will love GYROKINESIS!  90 mins.

Meditation group
Meditation is commonly described as a pleasant, peaceful feeling with many documented mental and physical health benefits. If you have difficulty calming your mind, come sit with us for some techniques to find your center.  Can be done sitting in a chair or on a cushion.  No prior experience needed.  $5 suggested donation. 1 hr.

Mat Pilates
Lean out, tone your core, and visually improve your posture. It's easier on your joints than traditional weight training. This class is a great compliment to your yoga practice or as an exclusive method of fitness. Utilizes Therabands, therapy balls, and Magic Circles for effective resistance training.  1 hr.

Introduction to Tai Chi-- Join us to learn the traditions of tai chi excercises, forms, and meditation.  Improve your mental and physical health through slow, quiet movement.

Heartfully Breathing, Receiving and Conceiving , or fertility yoga, reduces stress and opens energy channels that may increase your fertility naturally.  This gentle style of yoga is compatible with natural conception or IVF treatments. You will receive 6 weekly classes, a guided meditation CD, and a manual for daily home practice. Space limited to 10 students. Partners are welcome at no additional charge. $130 + $20 materials fee. Yoga Babies
Stretch, strengthen, and soothe yourself and your baby through yoga and massage. Your capable hands will build trust and intimacy with your baby while also taking care of yourself in a comforting yoga practice made for two. 45 mins.
